What We Do

At Dee’s Childcare we believe that every child deserves the best possible start to support and develop their true potential. A child’s experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances. A safe secure and happy childhood is important in its own right and provides the foundation for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.

When parents choose to use Early Years Services they want to know that the provision will keep their children safe, happy and achieving. The Early Years Foundation Stage is the framework that provides that assurance.

At Dee’s Childcare we aim to provide a clean, safe, loving homelike environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued. Respect towards ones self, each other and the environment will be emphasised.

We provide activities and learning experiences for children to develop to their full potential, which are appropriate for their age and stage of development. We promote learning and development based on the Early Years Foundation Stage. We provide a quality, caring environment, where standards are high and independence can be developed.

We supply a wealth of learning opportunities, both structured and flexible, to help children achieve their goals and promote their self esteem. Structured activities are varied and based on the needs and age of the child but include homework, reading, arts and crafts, music and movement, games (indoor and out) dressing up and role-play.

We offer a wide range of activities which include child initiated activities allowing the children to make their own choices from the wide array of toys and resources. We have planned weekly outings to local children centres, parks and open spaces, gardens and woodlands, farms, libraries, leisure centres and places of interest.
